"It’s All In Your Head"
I suppose I’m ready for Halloween? I decided to experiment with a different way to use the materials this time and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out ヽ(´▽`)/ ! I also added some close ups of this too.
Graphite and gouache on Arches watercolor paper! And really, I’m not this twisted…And special thanks to Micco for helping me stretch the concept! She told me the old tradition of carrying a portrait of your lover’s eye from the 18th Century during the Georgian period and I elaborated on that by having the girl wearing her supposed lover’s eyeball. And she will forever has his heart…
I’ll stop here before people begin to think poorly of me and my mental status.
First project for my Advertising Illustration class. We could choose any social or political topic that affects everyday American people and we had to incorporate the American flag as the motif in an informative poster. I obviously chose cocaine abuse ┐(‘～`；)┌
I also used my friend, James, as reference! Ink, gouache, graphite, and Photoshop!
I’ve also been in a rush with self-promotion stuff with help from Mark because one of my Illustration professors recommended me for an interview with BCBG for a potential internship!
I’ve also started a Behance for those who wanted a site with just my artwork. I needed a temporary website for my portfolio and when I get the chance this weekend, I’ll add the link to it on my sidebar, but for now just click the Behance button. Right now, it’s all work you’ve seen before because it’s all on my Tumblr.
She reflects a colorful personality. I did this in a rush for a portfolio I submitted along with the three other pieces prior to this. Yay for hairdryers to get paint to dry fast! The life of an artist ^o^
